My son could not wait for this book to publish after reading the first "Treasure Hunters" book. He read it in two days. He is already excited for book three! These are his favorite books and I am grateful to James Patterson for writing books full of adventure that inspire a love for reading! The first books my son could not put down. He took them wherever we had to go! One woman even commented "it is so nice to see a child with a book in his hands instead of a gaming device." Thank you James Patterson!

I didn't even know James Patterson wrote books for kids. We were in Barnes & Noble and my son saw the first in this series, flipped through it and we bought it. He loved it! So we bought the rest of the series!
My 8 year old son is in love with this series! I read the books too and I think James Patterson has done a fantastic job with this series. Of course, we thought some of it was totally unbelievable BUT that is why we loved it! Don't want to spoil it with details. Eagerly anticipating a third book to see if the biggest treasure will be located! With older children that refuse to read, it is refreshing to watch my little guy spend tons of money downloading books to his every few days! I can say that any James Patterson series for kids is well worth the investment.
My 9yo son was struggling to read, but had age appropriate interests in topics. This book turned out to be a fun one for us to read together with his little brother. With bigger font, fun pictures and a plot that involved pirates and kids kicking booty, it kept their interest and allowed us to "buddy read" for hours. After working together and reading constantly for months, his reading level improved and he was able to read both of the next books in the series on his own. Our family has really enjoyed this series!
I bought the first book in this series for one of our grandsons (age 11). He and his younger brother (age 7) loved the book so much that their parents bought the other two books in the series. They've loved them all. Now I am buying the three-book set for our other grandsons.
Not aware this was the first in a series of 3 of young adults books. However, read through all three of the books and am pretty sure that kids would like them. They had plot, action and were at a reading level that I think young people (8 to 12 maybe) could easily handle. I would consider them full of light-hearted adventure
I bought both of James Patterson's Treasure Hunters books for my 11 yr. old grandson who usually prefers to spend his leisure time on his electronic devices. Not only did he read both books in a short period of time, he keeps asking me if there are anymore or when another one will be released. Needless to say he loved the books so I can say I would highly recommend them.
My 10 year-old son received this book as a gift. I was amazed at how quickly he read it, at how much of the story he demanded to share with me, and how excited he was to learn there were more books in the series. He has received so much enjoyment from reading this series of books. Fellow homeschoolers, pirates, guns, travel, suspense, drama, action and adventure. What more could a young boy ask for?!
